Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on 20 July 2021 as Space and Defense Correspondent. As the Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she has for covering all aspects of space, from NASA and its recently created Space Force up until commercial space firms, as well as the advent and growth of space tourism. As the daughter and the mother of two NASA astronauts, Kristin was raised in the industry of space. She was a part of the space industry for five years, covering the Trump and Biden Space Policy of the Administration as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. In addition to covering two presidential impeachment cases, 2020's Presidential Campaign, as well as both administrations' efforts to curb the coronavirus epidemic The reporter also covered a range of other topics. Kristin was on the road extensively, both with the vice president and president. The reporter even took a secret trip to Afghanistan together with Donald Trump. Prior to joining the network in, Kristin spent nearly a decade working her way up through the local news channels which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the city's CBS affiliate. Kristin is also a skilled filmmaker, founded Field Mouse Films, a company that specializes in documentary style films, for companies such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C., with her family, including their daughter, who is three years old.
